How to Set Up a Custom Domain for Your Docs

Point your own domain to your GetPagemark documentation site with automatic SSL.

Step 1

Go to the Domain tab

Open your site in the GetPagemark dashboard and click the Domain tab.

Step 2

Enter your domain

Type your custom domain (e.g. docs.yourcompany.com) and click Add. GetPagemark will show you the DNS records to add.

Step 3

Add a CNAME record

In your DNS provider, add a CNAME record pointing your domain to proxy.getpagemark.com. If you're on Cloudflare, use DNS Only (gray cloud).

Type: CNAME
Name: docs
Content: proxy.getpagemark.com
Proxy: DNS Only
Step 4

Click Verify

Back in the GetPagemark dashboard, click Verify Domain. GetPagemark checks the CNAME, Cloudflare custom hostname status, and TXT records. Any of those passing verifies your domain.

Step 5

Wait for SSL

SSL is provisioned automatically via Cloudflare for SaaS. This usually takes 1-5 minutes. Once active, your site is accessible at https://docs.yourcompany.com.

Step 6

Done

Your custom domain is now live with automatic SSL. The site URL in your dashboard will update to show the custom domain.
