Privacy Policy

Information We Collect

• GitHub account data: When you sign in, we receive your GitHub user ID, username, email address, and avatar URL via OAuth. We also store a GitHub access token to clone repositories during builds.
• Site data: Repository URLs, branch names, site slugs, titles, descriptions, theme preferences, custom domains, and build history.
• Analytics data: Page views on your documentation sites, including page paths and referrer URLs. No personal information about your site visitors is collected — no cookies, no fingerprinting, no IP addresses stored.
• Payment data: Stripe handles all payment processing. We store your Stripe customer ID and subscription ID but never your credit card number, CVC, or billing address.
• Support tickets: Messages you send through the support system are stored to provide assistance.

How We Use Your Data

• To authenticate you and manage your account.
• To clone repositories and build your documentation sites.
• To process payments and manage subscriptions via Stripe.
• To serve your documentation sites to visitors.
• To provide visitor analytics on your documentation sites.
• To send transactional emails (welcome, build failures, support replies).
• To respond to support tickets.

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose other than operating the GetPagemark service.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. We share data only with the following service providers, strictly to operate GetPagemark:

• Stripe — payment processing only.
• GitHub — OAuth authentication and repository cloning only.
• Resend — transactional email delivery only.
• Railway / Vercel / Cloudflare — infrastructure hosting only.

None of these providers receive more data than necessary to perform their function. No data brokers, no ad networks, no analytics companies.

GitHub Tokens

Your GitHub OAuth token is stored in our database. It is used only during the build process to clone private repositories. The token is injected into the clone URL at build time and is never exposed in logs, build output, or the published site. You can revoke access at any time from your GitHub settings.

Cookies

We use a single authentication cookie (JWT) to maintain your session. That's it. No third-party cookies, no tracking cookies, no advertising cookies. The cookie is httpOnly, secure, and scoped to the getpagemark.com domain.

Data Retention

• Account data: Retained as long as your account is active.
• Site files: Built HTML is stored on persistent volumes and deleted when you delete a site.
• Analytics: Page view data is automatically purged based on your plan (7 days free, 30 days pro, 90 days business).
• Build history: Build records older than 90 days are automatically deleted.
• Support tickets: Retained for the lifetime of your account.

Your Rights — Delete Your Data

You have the right to request deletion of all your data at any time. To do so:

1. Go to Dashboard → Support.
2. Create a ticket with the subject "Delete my data".
3. We will confirm the request and permanently delete your account, all sites, builds, analytics, support history, and payment references within 7 business days.

Alternatively, you can email privacy@getpagemark.com with the subject "Data Deletion Request".

Once deleted, your data cannot be recovered. Your published documentation sites will go offline immediately. Content remains in your GitHub repositories — we only delete what's stored on our systems.

Children

GetPagemark is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with data, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the application or email. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
